Health Insurance Funding
Each insurance company has its own processes, so below we have outlined what you can expect from some of the major providers.
FAQs
Can I fund psychological therapy
using my health insurance policy?
Many of our practitioners are registered with major health insurance providers and may be able to offer psychological therapy to clients using their insurance to fund sessions.
If you intend to use your health insurance policy, please contact your provider first to confirm their specific requirements. In many cases, your insurer may ask you to obtain a referral from your GP before approving psychological therapy.
Once you have followed the necessary steps, your insurer should provide you with an authorisation number. This number will be required by your therapist in order to proceed with treatment under your policy.
