Carron Carson Henderson

Principal Psychotherapist

Carron is an Integrative Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience across forensic mental health, complex trauma, and medical psychology services. She is trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, schema therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Carron works with a wide range of presentations across the lifespan and holds a particular interest in complex trauma and its psychological impact. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, evidence-based, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

​

Alongside her clinical work, Carron is skilled in neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ADOS-2/ADI-R). She is also qualified through the British Psychological Society to deliver forensic and occupational assessments, specialising in clinical risk and personality profiling. Carron’s practice is rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and a commitment to promoting recovery and resilience.

Anne Grierson

Lead

Anne is an experienced and dedicated Family Support Worker with a strong background in service development and patient-centred care. Throughout her career, Anne has consistently placed the needs of patients and their families at the heart of her work, ensuring high standards of support and attention to detail at every stage of the care journey.

With extensive knowledge of mental health services and a passion for connecting individuals with the right support, Anne plays a vital role in ensuring that people feel informed, empowered, and included. She brings a wealth of experience in linking with external services and advocating for collaborative, holistic approaches to care.

 

Anne’s work is driven by a commitment to improving outcomes not only for veterans experiencing complex mental health conditions such as PTSD but also for those who support them. Her expertise, compassion, and meticulous approach ensure the highest quality of care and guidance during some of the most challenging times.

Gary Liddell

Registered Mental Health Nurse and Psychotherapist

Gary is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP). He holds a BSc in Mental Health Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Gary is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a member of the EMDR UK Association.

Gary brings extensive experience from both private and NHS settings, working with adults and young people presenting with a range of complex mental health needs. His areas of specialism include trauma, addiction, and co-occurring mental health difficulties. Gary’s therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, combining CBT and EMDR with mindfulness-based interventions to support emotional regulation, recovery, and relapse prevention.

Alongside his clinical work, Gary actively contributes to service development initiatives and the promotion of compassionate, person-centred care. His practice is rooted in fostering resilience, self-awareness, and sustainable wellbeing for the individuals he supports.

Kirstin Murray

Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Counsellor

Kirstin is an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP) with extensive experience in counselling and therapeutic care for young people in the community. She holds professional qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is currently undertaking advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Kirstin’s professional background spans health, social care, and community-based residential services. She has significant experience supporting young adults in their own accommodation within the community, often working in crisis situations, managing complex needs, and acting as an on-call community manager. Her role also involved devising and implementing support plans to promote stability, resilience, and personal development for the young people she worked with.

​

Kirstin’s clinical approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and informed by attachment and developmental frameworks. She is committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that supports emotional wellbeing, recovery, and growth.

Lucy Lewis

Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Counsellor

Lucy Lewis is a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and counsellor, offering therapy to individuals across the lifespan. She has particular experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, teenagers, and adults, providing a warm, non-judgemental space for growth and exploration.

Lucy works with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, stress, OCD, abuse, self-harm, sleep issues, and family difficulties. Her practice is integrative and evidence-based, enriched by specialist training in burnout, attachment, pregnancy loss, sleep and dreams, and Lego® Therapy for young people.

Alongside her therapeutic work, Lucy is trained in Adoption Support Counselling and holds a Certificate in Clinical Supervision from the British Psychological Society. She is committed to delivering inclusive, affirming therapy, supporting individuals to feel seen, heard, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.

Contact Us

At Mindscope, our experienced practitioners offer supervision and consultancy services tailored to professionals across a range of sectors, including health, social care, education, and related fields. We provide flexible options, offering regular, occasional, or ad hoc supervision sessions, available on a one-to-one or group basis. Where appropriate, and with client agreement, we also offer therapy sessions delivered by trainee therapists under supervision, at a reduced fee.
